Based in Lake Forest, IL, Grainger has established a long history of delivering the highest quality products to its more than 2 million customers worldwide. When Grainger decided to expand its operations throughout North America in 1996, it turned to Techno-Graphics and for help.

To support the opening of a new distribution center in Monterrey, Mexico and the company’s Canadian expansion plans, Grainger sought to provide trilingual operating instructions and parts manuals (OIPMs) for thousands of Grainger private-branded items. Techno-Graphics employed the most skilled and knowledgeable linguists, desktop publishers and proofreaders, and delivered thousands of technical translations to support Grainger’s North American expansion.

Techno-Graphics worked directly with Grainger, as well as its suppliers to provide highly accurate technical translations of their OIPMs in French and Spanish, develop manual templates, and deliver the desktop publishing services required to print the product documentation. Following Grainger’s initial translation needs, Techno-Graphics subsequently provided product manual updates in English, French and Spanish, as Grainger expanded its operations.

Today, Techno-Graphics is still one of Grainger’s original preferred technical translation provider. We work closely with Grainger to provide exceptional translation and desktop publishing services for the full range of Grainger products.
